Green Net Finland is a cleantech business network that brings together the expertise and resources of Finnish cleantech companies, scientific and   educational institutions and public authorities.

The challenge of promoting sustainable development, including climate change adaptation and mitigation, requires new and effective modes of operation. Green Net Finland meets this challenge through multi-disciplinary integration of environmental and energy sector expertise with that of the ICT sector, thereby creating a fertile environment for new, innovative and energy-efficient solutions, particularly for the urban environment.

Green Net Finland promotes cleantech innovations and the growth of business, exports and expertise through public-private cooperation, networking and project development. In 2010 the network includes around 60 member organizations, including major corporations and SMEs, cities and regional organizations, universities and research centres.

Green Net Finland is a not-for-profit organization, registered as an association in Finland. In years 2007-2013, Green Net Finland is coordinating the work of the national Cleantech Cluster Programme in the Uusimaa Region as a national centre of expertise.
