The second edition of the High Level event on ICT for Energy Efficiency was held in Brussels, 23- 24 February 2010, where SAVE ENERGY had a stand at the exhibition and received the visits of people from the European Commission and many other people interested in the project.

The SAVE ENERGY stand was hosted by project coordinator Álvaro Oliveira with the help from other project partners. The SAVE ENERGY pilots were also represented by Asko Kippo from Helsinki, Arne Gylling from Lulea, José Basílio from Lisbon and Dave Carter from Manchester.

During the inaugural tour by the European Authorities, the SAVE ENERGY booth was visited by Zoran Stančič Deputy Director General, DG Information Society and Media, European Commission, Patrizia Toia, MEP Vice-Chairwoman Committee on Industry, Research and Energy was accompanying the Deputy Director, and Juan Tomás Hernani, Secretary of State of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. Project Coordinator Álvaro Oliveira from ALFAMICRO received the visitors and gave them a presentation of the SAVE ENERGY project.
